Impact is who we are. We are so blessed to be surrounded by people who focus on making a huge impact on patients’ lives all over the world every day.

Each year Ignite recognizes an incredible scientific warrior with an extraordinary impact in treating and curing diseases and improving the quality of life for patients.

We also select a patient warrior whose battle inspires us all.

The following heroes have inspired not only our team but thousands of others. Because of their inspirational work, countless patients will be treated with cures that didn’t exist until they created the science.

Chris Swetzes

It is with the heaviest of hearts we share the passing of our warrior and hero Chris Swetzes. Chris has had a profound impact on all of us at Ignite, our clients and friends. He has reignited our dedication to supporting our clients and candidates developing therapeutics to battle cancer and other life threatening diseases. We will be announcing a memorial in his honor to recognize his amazing energy, strength, love of life, and beauty. His incredibly brave battle over five years will continue to inspire us and Chris will never leave our hearts.
